SentinelOne Anti-Virus

The university has switched to SentinelOne for anti-virus protection on all university owned assets. It is not available for personal computers, but we can recommend you install the home version of Sophos which is free since the trial version of Sophos does not expire.

CDA is deploying the SentinelOne client on all CDA managed assets. For those not directly managed by CDA we will install it for you remotely, but some manual intervention on your part will be needed to allow SentinelOne to access your computer.

For users on macOS High Sierra, Mojave or Catalina, the manual authorization process is listed on this page: https://www.concordia.ca/finearts/cda/support/faq/sentinelone-anti-virus.html

For users on macOS Big Sur, the procedure to activate SentinelOne is here: https://www.concordia.ca/finearts/cda/support/faq/sentinelone-anti-virus-new.html

For Windows users, it will be seamless and no intervention is needed. For those at home, you’ll need to be connected via VPN for the install to take place.

If you have trouble, please open a ticket by emailing help@concordia.ca and saying that it should go to the Fine Arts queue to expedite your request for help.
